well I think taking a deep breath might help ;) I've never written long fic to a deadline (that i've actually met) so I'm possibly not going to be much help. I'm finding with the one I'm working on at the minute that once I have what I'd call a first draft of a chapter I know where it's going and then can rewrite it so the pacing is better. I'm guessing as you're writing you'll be able to tell if you're rushing the plot and be able to adjust accordingly. maybe just taking a bit of a step back would help. Just breathe and write lol. Maybe it'd help to ignore the chapter goal for a while - unless they're really short - and just trust that you know what you're/the muses are doing. Failing that make a lot of journal entries about it ;)
