I just heard....and am totally shocked! 

Kim Manners passed away last night after having battled lung cancer for the last months

I am in complete shock. I had no idea he was sick, but I see they were trying to keep it under wraps.
My condolences go out to his family.

From what I've seen of /read about him he seemed like a genuinely nice person with loads of talent and great sense of humour.

He will be missed.

I just heard, Man and I can't believe it, he did such a great job on both SPN and X-files and seemed like such a great person in interviews. Must be hard on his family and everyone he worked with:(

I know I feel just the same way! It's still a bit of a shock.....
I'm planning on doing a little tribute for Kim in my German SPN Podcast this week. I think he really deserves it
